Storm Siren Information

The City of Forsyth maintains 5 storm sirens

Storm sirens are located near:

  • White River Plaza on North City limits
  • Downtown
  • Skyline Drive
  • Shoals Bend subdivision
  • Shadowrock Park

Sirens are tested on the second Wednesday of each month at 10 am unless there is active weather in the area.  Sirens are activated during National Weather Service Tornado or Severe Thunderstorm Warnings or other civil emergencies.

When activated, people who are outdoors should seek shelter indoors immediately and use a weather radio, local media, or smart phone apps to monitor the situation.
