In addition to responding to emergency medical and fire calls, the Fire Department provides a number of services in the community.

Businesses, churches, and community groups can request fire extinguisher, first aid, and CPR training from the fire department for a very reasonable cost.
New businesses receive a free fire code inspection as part of their move-in process ensuring that fire extinguishers, lighted exit lighting, and up-to-date after-hours contact information are in place.
The volunteers are active in the community providing education services to Forsyth Schools and area daycares as well as at events such as Forsyth Easter Egg Hunt, Halloween Parade, and Christmas Parade.
