Police Report Requests

Forsyth police reports are available pursuant to the Missouri Sunshine Law (610.100     RSMo). Our goal when releasing police reports is to protect the rights of those individuals     named in the report.  As a result, police reports can be retrieved for the following     persons:

  • Attorneys and insurers for persons involved (see additional information below). .

Criminal Incident and Accident Reports are available to the above-listed individuals     typically beginning five (5) business days after the date of the incident. However,     the Forsyth Police Department reserves the right to extend that time period based     on circumstances that may arise, causing a delay in completing a given report. Requests     can be made in person by visiting the Forsyth Police Department, 15405 U.S. Highway     160, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 3 pm. Any person requesting a report will be     asked to produce a valid state-issued identification card or driver's license.
